Fun at Family Fall Fest

Fun at Family Fall Fest

138 Families + 420 Hotdogs + 59 RCS Faculty + 21 Classroom Session Opportunities + 2 worship songs = 1 night full of family fun! Now that is an equation!

Thank you to all the RCS Families that made it our to our first ever Family Fall Fest! We had a great time in fellowship with our families, worshipping together as a community in Christ, and learning from our teachers about how to make this year, the best school year yet!

Each elementary teacher had the opportunity to explain more about their classroom dynamic, their expectations for their students, and fun activities planned for the year. At the secondary level, parents had the opportunity to listen to several seminars presented by secondary staff including: Excelling in Junior High, Excelling in High School, Knowledge Bowl information, AP Courses information, Riverside Christian School and Beyond, the 2016 East Coast Trip, and the 2016 Haiti Missions Trip.

While parents traveled to their sessions, RCS students of all ages played on the back lawn and playground. Mr. Edgerly and Mrs. Bell, RCS P.E. Teachers, organized several games throughout the hour of fun!

Amid all of the activities of Familly Fall Fest, 2014-2015 school yearbooks were distributed, RCS Spirit T-shirts were sold, and the RCS Lunch Program launched a pre-paid lunch card to our families! We are so thankful for the opportunity to gather as a school family for such a fun night! We are already looking forward to next year! Thank you to all the faculty, staff, and volunteers who worked so helped make this event possible!
