The Missions Class was one of three organizations to receive the 2015 Golden Hammer Award from Habitat for Humanity last Monday. The class was recognized for their work over the last seven years in helping several families build their homes. Some of the work the students were involved in included priming and painting the interior and exterior of houses, hanging dry wall, framing, building fences, and spreading and leveling dirt for sod.

RCS Missions Class is a high school elective that gives students the opportunity to serve alongside organizations in the community. Our missions class has partnered with Habitat for Humanity, Rod’s House, Madison House, Northwest Harvest, Crescent Health Care, Living Care, Union Gospel Mission and others to assist the need in our community, represent our school, and share the love of God with others!
