3rd Grade Compound Machine Projects

Last Thursday, we welcomed over 470 people through our doors to explore Riverside Christian School. Close to 150 RCS families came to view their students hard work and projects from this year, visit with their former and current teachers, and get a sneak peak into what next year will look at the next grade level.

Although there we’re many familiar faces, RCS welcomed over 20 new families through our doors who are considering choosing RCS for their students next year. Senior class leadership, administration, board members, and teachers welcomed these new families and escorted them through RCS hallways, classrooms, science labs, the library, music room, cafeteria and gym.

Pre-Kindergarten Classroom

To get a quick snapshot of the evening, students and families were able to watch the caterpillars growing in Kindergarten, check out the Native American homes built by our 2nd graders, read the President reports written in 4th grade, flip through the “All About Me: A-Z” 6th grade reports, shoot a potato gun from the second story high school science lab and enjoy a freshly baked cookie from Mrs. Warren’s Home-Economics class. After viewing all the learning and fun that goes on here at RCS, how couldn’t you believe that we prepare students to be “Rooted in Christ. Ready for Tomorrow.”

As we reflect on Open House 2016, we praise God for providing us with the opportunity to teach and minister to the lives of our students and continue to pray for our prospective families as they seek out God’s will for their student’s education. Thank you to everyone who came out for Open House!

If you missed this event and would like to arrange a personal tour of our campus, please contact our Marketing and Enrollment Director, Kaleen Goodeill at admissions@riversidechristian.net  or 509-965-2602.
