8th Grade Promotion for RCS Class of 2020
This morning RCS 8th graders were promoted to high school with a ceremony awarding their academic success and leadership. Both 7th and 8th grade students who served on ASB leadership and who were on Honor Roll (3.0-3.49 GPA) and Crusader List (3.5-4.0 GPA) were honored with certificates. Junior High teachers also awarded specific students with character and leadership awards.
At the end of the ceremony, students watched a video featuring baby photos and each 8th grade student reciting their life verse. Afterwards, students spread out across the gym and lit candles representing their light in this world and gathered with family and friends to pray over their future. View the 8th grade video here.
