Celebrate Jesus Every Day!

Every day is a day to celebrate the living savior. Good Friday was a day that our students reminded us that we all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God but Jesus lives forever!

 

We were reminded that without Jesus’ help, we are unable to live the life that God wills for us. We were each given a red sticker representing sin. As we prayed and reflected upon our own lives, we laid our sins at the foot of the cross. He accepted our judgmental attitude, our lies, our impatience, our lust, our jealousy, our arrogance, our selfishness and replaced it with His perfectness. He endured pain and punishment in order for us to be complete. With God’s love and help, we can live the life He wants for us.

 

It’s because He loves us that He gave His one and only son so that we can enter into His light. He did this so that we can have a relationship with Him. Because of His love, we are able to run from the darkness. Anyone who does this can have a lasting life.

 

 

 

Jesus is more powerful than death. As He had told the disciples, on the third day He rose and ascended into heaven. The ascension was represented by the red balloons being released into the blue sky. He’s sitting at the right hand of the Father acting on our behalf. Satan is always pointing our inadequacies but God see’s our perfect righteousness through Jesus.

The power of the Holy Spirit working in us is Jesus Christ living within us. The Holy Spirit is a free gift sent from heaven for anyone who believes.
