Is Riverside Christian one school?

Yes! However, we have four distinct divisions all on one beautiful campus.  Our high school serves grades 9-12, our junior high serves grades 7-8, our elementary serves grades K-6, and our early elementary serves Preschool and Pre-Kindergarten. In addition, Riverside has a state licensed Early Learning Center on campus that offers before, during, and afterschool care for students up to 12 years old.

Is Riverside Christian accredited?

Yes! Riverside Christian School is an approved private school through the Office of Superintendent of Public (OSPI).  We are a member of the Washington Federation of Independent Schools (WFIS), and accredited through the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI), AdvancED, and the Northwest Accreditation Commission (NWAC).

What is your annual tuition? Are scholarships available?

The tuition per student depends upon the grade level of the student and the number of children attending from the family. Please visit our Tuition and Fees page to access our current tuition. Variable Tuition may serve as a scholarship for qualifying families. We also offer scholarships for pastors and RCS faculty and staff.

How do I schedule a tour?

Does Riverside welcome students with special needs or learning differences?

Yes! Understanding that each child is “fearfully and wonderfully made,” we welcome students with a wide range of learning differences.  Riverside Christian has both a Supplemental Program and a Special Education Program. For both of these programs, various learning methods are utilized, including auditory, visual, and kinesthetic. Our objective is to enhance the weak areas of learning while reinforcing areas of personal strength while helping each student reach their God-given potential. For more information, please contact Debbie Doornink, our Special Education Director.

Does Riverside have a hot lunch program?

Yes!  We are blessed to have a registered dietician on staff that coordinates our lunch entrée program.  Along with an affordable entrée, a variety of healthy options may also be purchased to supplement the student lunch. An entrée menu is posted each month.

Is there help for families who need tuition assistance?

Yes!  The commitment to providing an affordable education that is accessible to all Christian families is foundational to the mission of Riverside Christian School.  We offer a Variable Tuition Program, which is a needs-based tuition assistance program for families who qualify. Apply today.
