When did you start attending RCS?
What do you love about RCS?
Our classes are smaller, therefore our teachers give each student more devoted time than compared to a giant public school class. The atmosphere and environment I am in, not just the location of RCS but also the people – friends, classmates, and teachers.
Describe one of your favorite teachers at RCS and tell why he/she is your favorite?
I would have to say it is a tie between Miss McIlvanie and Mrs. Warren. I can’t even begin to explain how special they both are to me. My memories with Miss McIlvanie include the Chevy 100th birthday poster contest, raising salmon, writing, and the many adventures. Mrs. Warren is super sweet and is like my second mom. I can tell her anything. She is supportive, encouraging, considerate, and gives good advice!
In what ways have you grown in your faith as a result of your experience at RCS?
Without RCS, I probably wouldn’t know Christ as my personal Savior. I would be going around life not even knowing there was a God.
How has RCS prepared you to be “Rooted in Christ” and “Ready for Tomorrow?”
I am Rooted in Christ because I am surrounded by other believers, we have chapel, and Bible classes.
I am Ready for Tomorrow not just prepared academically, but also spiritually. College is often discussed and thought about even at my age!
How do you feel that RCS is preparing you for graduation, college, and life? What are your plans after you graduate (it’s okay if you don’t know)?
There is just that energy in the air that we are working for college and a higher education. Knowing that we have a God who is there 24/7 where others aren’t just lets me know that I am ready for life!
Ever since I was little, there has never been a question whether I will go to college. After college, I will maybe find a job and get married and start a family. I have always thought about what I want to be when I grow up. It has changed from being an astronaut in a pink space suit to a fashion designer, and now a teacher or pro dancer.
