Activities are teacher-directed and students receive a nutritious snack. Operating hours are 7:50 am-3:15pm, Monday through Friday. • We have one Bus Route that makes stops at various locations in West Valley, Yakima and Selah. For more information, email admissions@riversidechristian.net

  • We serve hot lunch every full day of school. Lunches are charged to the students account and paid with tuition the following month.

  • Yes, we do require families to volunteer. Volunteering is a fun, exciting, and important way to stay involved in not only your student’s life, but a way to meet other parents. Parents set a great example by supporting a strong value of the school: community service.  Coming together in a spirit of cooperation to benefit the school ministry to “our kids” pays dividends that will last for eternity.  Parent volunteers give valuable expertise to the school, volunteering their time and talent, and generously supporting projects. This help from parents keeps the school’s costs at a minimum.

Each year Riverside Christian School captures the numerous hours our volunteers provide to the school.  Each family is expected to contribute a minimum of 20 hours of service for one full-time student and 30 hours for two or more full-time students over the course of the school year. Families with students ONLY in half-day programs (Preschool, Preschool First Steps, Pre-kindergarten, and Kindergarten) are expected to contribute 10 hours per year per half-day students enrolled at RCS. Not participating in the service hour program will result in a $1,500 donation charged to your account.
